Q. Where is the Meridian International School?
A. Meridian International School is located in the north part of Kyiv, the capital city of Ukraine. MIS is nearly 10 km from the city centre.

Q. What kind of school is MIS?
A. We are a co-educational school from Kindergarten to Grade 11. We follow Ukrainian Curriculum and the adapted Pearson Edexcel Curriculum of England, Cambridge Primary and Secondary Programme in English, Science and Maths and  IGCSE  curriculum (although we are mindful of our setting in Ukraine) and our school year runs from September through mid-June.

Q. Do you have any requirements regarding qualifications or experience?
A. Teachers must have a recognised teaching qualification, such as a B.Ed. or PGCE, or a qualification from your home country that allows you to work in a state school.

Q. How do I apply?

Q. When will I hear back from you?
A. You should get an email response within a few days in receipt of your application. After this we will then only contact successfully short-listed candidates, although we may contact you and ask for references prior to short-listing.

Q. What checks are done on applicants?
A. We take safeguarding very seriously and require successful applicants to obtain an enhanced DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) or ICPC (International Child Protection Certificate) check, or national equivalent. We will also ask for at least two references, one of which should be your current/most recent Head Teacher.
